Beeline Hive Five: NBA – March 28

Beeline NBA DFS Cheat Sheets – March 28

It is extremely difficult to focus in on 1 player per position, but I am certainly going to try my best to do so. Remember Slack Chat is where we can help the most, so tune in there so we can help discuss and build your lineups.

These are 5 players (one per position) whom we think are relatively must-have’s in lineup construction. You may not be able to fit all 5 in your lineups, but with the help of the cheat sheets, takedown article, and breakdown article we provide, it gives a very solid base to build successful lineups.

Point Guard – Trey Burke

If Mudiay continues to sit out, Burke should be an automatic lock tonight. Given the expanded role he has been on absolute fire, and I really don’t see him slowing down against the 76ers, especially where they force a higher pace of play. A sneaky play tonight is also Tyler Ulis, he has been getting between 20-30 minutes per game, and it looks like the Suns are going to finish out the season with him in a higher demanding role.

Shooting Guard – Nicolas Batum

This is in hopes Batum plays without any sort of minute restriction. I am pretty hopeful he doesn’t, given that last game he played a little over 20 minutes, and has had a few days rest since. All reports have pointed that he has been a full participant in practice. He is too cheap for the output he could give us, best to jump on Batum now before his price rises.

Small Forward –  Lebron James

The play at SF is no doubt to pay up for Lebron James. He is incredibly expensive, but the man is on an absolute tear, and playing at possibly the highest level we have ever seen him play at. If you don’t want to up for him, assuming you are fading for a tournament purpose, Josh Jackson really stands out, and the Clippers are horrible at guarding the SF position.

Power Forward – Larry Nance Jr.

If you did not see it last night, Kevin Love got rocked in the face by an elbow and knocked out one of his front teeth. He was suffering concussion like symptoms when they checked him out later. He will be going through the concussion test today and is only listed as GTD. My verdict, is to expect him out tonight, meaning Larry Nance should get a big boost in minutes, along with Tristan Thompson, but Thompson does not have much fantasy appeal.

Center – Dwight Howard

Not sure if anyone has been following Howard’s stats lately, but he has been an absolute monster not just as of late, but kind of a sneaky play the whole season. He can very easily put up a 20-20 stat line any game, and this matchup against the Cavs should only promote him doing that. Thompson will share center duties with Nance, and neither guy can contain the size of Howard. It should be an easy position win for Howard.
